Additionally, an upgraded item may be able to give additional buffs to the unit it is equipped with. These upgrades can be used to boost a variety of purposes for example, to increase the overall strength of an individual or group unit. They can also be a significant influence on the gameplay.
The items can be upgraded at any item upgrade r NPC in the game. Generally NPCs can be found in capital cities or major questing spots. Players can also find upgraders when they visit dungeons with high-level bosses, and by talking to the NPCs in their garrisons of their faction.
The World of Warcraft item upgrade system lets players improve the quality of weapons, armor and trinkets.
