Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades can boost the stats of a piece of equipment and sometimes even its extras. item upgrading of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements and the number of random augmentations applied.
For instance, the premium shield for racial discrimination Razortail is usually upgraded to improve its lightning absorb capability in PvP or to provide additional defenses to missile-based builds in PvM. This makes it more marketable than the non-upgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens allow you to reroll a purchased item, like an armor, weapon or ring. The item is swapped for one similar one and comes with a different set of extra bonuses. Reroll tokens are an economical method of upgrading equipment. They don't keep the original equipment's condition and any money wasted aren't rewarded.
Reroll tokens can be obtained by survivors via a variety of methods like the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They are also available in crates and chests or buy them at the market for $150 each. Reroll tokens are used to alter the attribute of an item, for example increasing the damage it can cause.
Players can roll equipment with three aspects: physical power, spell power and health. Upgrades to physical power can increase the damage of melee and weapons attack, while upgrades to spell power upgrade mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades provide the player with an additional level of health.
Three types of rerolls tokens are available in three categories: upgrade rare, legendary and rare. Each of these upgrades the item to higher quality. To make them, you need a higher level token for rerolling. Upgrades require a regular item. Rare upgrades require an item that is unique or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.
The reroll marker, unlike other markers or tokens that are placed on action areas, remains on the space till the next success is rerolled. This is a way to prevent the waste of upgrades.
Blueprints appear as envelopes at the start of each Preparation Stage, and are opened by grabbing them using Interact. When they are opened, they display an image and description of the Ingredient or Appliance. The restaurant's shop can swap blueprints for a new appliance or ingredient for a small amount.
This means that you can move blueprints between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a game. This changes the blueprints that the restaurant's shop offers to reroll, and those that are located in the Non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
Weapons and armor, as well as accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These are special stones that increase an item's level by increasing its stats and attributes. These items can be obtained by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the main towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell them for a fee. Moreover, players can obtain these stones by signing daily contracts.
To upgrade gear to upgrade gear, players must first locate the item and then click the "level up button". This will display a menu that shows the item's current status and what it will be after being leveled up as well as the necessary amount of Growth Stones to achieve this. New players may find it difficult to obtain Growth Stones. There are many ways to acquire the stones. You can finish contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, get them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book or find them in reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. Players can also break down the higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.
Leveling
Leveling is an optional feature that allows players to increase the base stats of weapons, armor, helms, and trinkets. It is achieved by combining an item with upgrade components at the Upgrade Station, paying a cost of Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The process will consume the upgrade materials and give the item an increased level, which gives the item a boost in that particular area. This process can be repeated until the highest level for an item has been reached.
Items that have upgraded base stats display the blue icon in their slot. Unlike enchantments, however, upgrade components do not stack against each other, and can only be added to one item at a time. Each upgrade component requires the purchase of a certain amount of items, as well as a minimum equipment level.
The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left, players can add an item that they wish to upgrade. On the right, an image of the equipment will look like when it reaches its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow once the player has enough materials will begin the upgrade process.
A piece of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Each time it is upgraded, the stats of the base item will increase by an amount of. The maximum level of an item is 19.
Once an item has reached its maximum level, its upgrades are no longer available for it. When a piece of equipment reaches a specific upgrade track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer) upgrades to the track will be offered at discounted prices.
Upgrade components are a type of equipment that can slot into weapons, armors trinkets, gathering tools and other trinkets to give an extra effect or attribute bonus when the equipment is being used. They can be purchased from vendors, looted, obtained through questing, or traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced by new ones, but doing so could destroy the previous upgrade, except for glyphs which can be replaced and removed at any time.
Requirements
The upgrades to items allow players the ability to boost certain stats on weapons and armor they currently have equipped. The requirements for upgrading an item will differ depending on the type of item however, you'll usually require Dilithium as well as a number Upgrade tokens.
Items can be upgraded by adding upgrade components to equipment and weapons. This gives them additional effects or an increase in item level. These upgrades can come from a variety of sources, such as crafting, buying at the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting from raids and bosses. Once an upgrade component is placed in an item it isn't able to be removed or replaced freely, however, glyphs placed in gathering tools can be swapped without limitation.
Upgrades can increase the Mark Level of an item or Rarity. In addition, certain upgrade components come with additional modifiers which can further enhance the stats of the item.
The helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun", for instance, increases the base defense and gives an additional 20% chance to block. In addition, the dps upgrade "Wildfire" boosts weapon damage.
Some items benefit from upgrading not so much for their improved stats, but for the fact that it lets players get the most value from a flawless roll on the item. A perfectly rolled 200/6500 armor set piece, for example, is highly valued by melee PvP communities and can be worth 20-50 times that of the unupp'd version.
When you choose an upgrade component to be inserted into an item the game will show a pop-up window that shows the requirements required for that item. The game will display the requirements required when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.
Once you've met the required requirements for an upgrade the game will put the item in your inventory and the progress bar will be updated to show how close you are to completing the upgrade. You can also verify the status of an upgrade by going to any NPC that upgrades items.
